eneral Manager, Whisky Department, Yamazaki Distillery. A whisky specialist through and through, Mr Mike Miyamoto has close to 30 years of experience in the whisky business. After graduating from Kyushu University with a Master’s degree of Agriculture in Applied Microbiology, he joined Suntory and was stationed at the Yamazaki distillery. Mr Miyamoto’s career at Suntory has taken him across various continents, arming him with broad and well-honed expertise in the area of whisky production. He is currently the General Manager of Whisky Department at Yamazaki Distillery.
